Jane Ford Shaw

Jane Ford Shaw joined Russo & Rizio, LLC in November 2021.  She concentrates her practice in the areas of estate planning, probate administration, planning and applying for medicaid assistance under Title 19, trusts and real estate.  Prior to joining Russo & Rizio, Jane practiced as partner in well-established general practice for over 20 years.  As such, she brings a wide breath of experience in many areas of law, including representing small businesses, representing both employees and employers in the matters involving employment law, and business organization.   Jane has also experience representing clients in appellate matters. Currently, Jane serves as a Hearing Officer with the Connecticut State Department of Education in the areas of special education and student expulsions.

Jane volunteers her time with local organizations focused on the supportive initiatives for young adults with intellectual disabilities.

Jane is a graduate of Providence College and Quinnipiac University School of Law.
